You slowly move from the feet and tell your self to relax them. As you move up from your feet, gradually relax each part of your torso as you go along. If you practice enough with this proven method, you will be able to do it very efficiently. Try to go into a stress-free quiet place. The more tranquil the setting, the better it will work.

When you talk about the best atmosphere or setting for your self-hypnosis sessions, the important point is you want to facilitate relaxation. Without this kind of atmosphere, you will hamper your success. A state of relaxation is one of the basic criteria to a positive self-hypnosis session.

But you can be creative with this, too, such as creating a special setting. A good location is in your bedroom, with the room darkened and, perhaps, some incense or candles for a calming atmosphere.

There are lots of reasons that some hints regarding self-hypnosis are hardly worth your time. Yet, if you are a newbie to this, then you probably don't know what may or may not be correct. You'll have to put your beliefs on hold until you gain more knowledge. It is only at that point in which you'll be able to see what is real and what is not.
